Collages from from the research of the memory of the fantastic "Désert de Retz".
This is the results in the research of the history around the Désert de Retz and
how this place influenced the Swedish King Gustav III and the Scandinavian environment.
¤-Dr. Racines-¤, the visionnary Sire Racine de Monville, did not want to construct a castel, un chateau, like the others! This architect, behind the Winter Garden in the Parc Monseau in Paris, made his own paradise in the Marly le Roi Forest, between Versailles and Poissy.
Five years ahead of the Day of the French Revolution, the Swedish King Gustav III came visiting.
This is the beginning of the story I tell.
It ended in an famous Opéra (by Aubert) and
we all forgot about Nils (Nicolas) and all the red "topplue" in Norway !
